We are a fully legal and transparent PT PMA (Penanaman Modal Asing), a foreign investment company registered with the Indonesian Ministry of Law and Human Rights and the Indonesia Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM). Maritime Safety & Vessel Certification

These exhaustive inspections cover hull integrity, machinery performance, and the operational status of all safety equipment. Furthermore, every vessel completes a full dry-docking for comprehensive hull and systems inspection at least once every 24 months. This process includes ultrasonic thickness testing of the hull plating and inspection of all underwater components, ensuring optimal performance and structural integrity.

• Vessel Seaworthiness: Every vessel in our curated fleet holds a valid Certificate of Seaworthiness (Surat Kelaiklautan Kapal) issued by the Indonesian Directorate General of Sea Transportation (DJPL). This is not a one-time approval; it is maintained through regular, rigorous inspections.
• International Safety Management (ISM) Code: Our operations adhere to the principles of the ISM Code, ensuring a systematic, documented approach to safety management, pollution prevention, and emergency preparedness.

Navigating Raja Ampat’s Unique Environment

Our captains and cruise directors possess an average of 15 years of experience navigating these specific waters. We meticulously plan every itinerary around the region’s distinct seasons. During the calmer, drier season from October to April, we confidently explore the exposed southern wonders of Misool. From May to September, when the southeast trade winds are more prominent, our itineraries focus on the sheltered, equally remarkable areas of the Dampier Strait and northern islands, ensuring guest comfort and safety. We utilize advanced tidal planning software to safely navigate channels like the Dampier Strait, where currents can exceed 6 knots, timing our passages and dive site entries for optimal conditions.

Emergency Preparedness & Response

We plan for every contingency to ensure the safety of our guests and crew. We maintain a standing agreement for medical evacuation services with a leading international provider, with a target response time of under 4 hours to Sorong from most of our cruising areas. From the Dampier Strait, a medevac helicopter dispatched from Sorong’s Domine Eduard Osok Airport (SOQ) can be on-site in as little as 90 minutes. All our vessels are equipped with automated external defibrillators (AEDs), comprehensive medical kits, and therapeutic oxygen. We also maintain a 24/7 satellite link to a shore-based team of emergency physicians at Global MedAssist in Singapore for real-time consultation.

• Emergency Response Plan (ERP): We have a detailed, 200-page ERP for all foreseeable scenarios, including medical emergencies, mechanical issues, and severe weather. Drills for fire, man-overboard, and abandon-ship scenarios are conducted monthly by the crew.
• Medical Support: Our vessels are equipped with medical supplies exceeding international standards. All senior crew are certified in Medical First Aid and CPR/AED, with many holding advanced certifications. Our 24/7 on-call relationship with medical evacuation services ensures an immediate, coordinated response if required.
• Real-Time Tracking: Our entire fleet is monitored via a shore-based GPS tracking system from our operations base in Sorong, providing our management team with real-time location, speed, and heading data at all times.
